10 Rules Women Should Follow When They Train

1. There’s nothing like learning to be fit and strong.

Being able to improve your physical fitness, brings more contentment, happiness and sense of achievement than many other areas of your life. If you don’t have your fitness, what do you have? Nothing.

2. Fitness should be the best part of your day.

It should inspire, educate, invigorate and renew. It should be challenging and key to development in all aspects of your life.

3. Don’t count kg of body weight when you can count kg on the bar.

The aim is to improve your physical body by measuring your athletic potential not the size of your waistline or thighs– your mind and body will thank you for it.

4. Keep track of your progress.

What you don’t measure won't improve. Keep track of your personal best and work on your weaknesses. To realise your shortcomings and then impose discipline on them to make them better is an incredible way to improve yourself and very fulfilling.

5. Listen to your body and workout smarter

Mobilise: work on the range of movement, perfect each technique then add intensity so you avoid injury. Being able to move and move well is an incredible advantage, one most people take for granted.

6. Nourish your body to perform and not to be skinny.

Nutrition is a great gift, you should cherish and enjoy it. It can transform everything about you in the most positive way.

7. Health is holistic

To feel amazing you need to build a beautiful lifestyle which lets you do what life demands of you.

8. Enjoy and cherish the people

Find out about them, what drives them in their workout like they find out what drives you. Make friends – you all share a common goal of being better than yesterday.

9. Hi five often and butt slap for PRs

Congratulate your friends on their achievements and they will congratulate you. We're all in this together!

10. Be empowered by your gym

Health is the gateway to success in life. If you can succeed, commit to goals and put effort into your physical training you can succeed in other areas of your life too.
